Of Life, Of Land, Of Ancestry
Today we breathe new life into this land. Today we breathe life into the unmarked graves on which we stand. We honor them in the only way...
” I am deliberate and afraid of nothing.”
― Audre Lord, New Year's Day
An Activist Scholar who is Deliberate and Afraid of Nothing.
I am a double alumna of Howard University where I received a bachelor of arts and master of arts in political science. In my undergraduate studies, I focused on the inclusion of Black queer individuals in conceptions of Black Power utilizing the liberation theology framework. In my master's studies, I wrote my theses on the political theology of white Christian nationalism. As a scholar activist, I believe in the power of combining theory with praxis in our imaginations of intersectional justics and liberation.
